About the Event
As teachers we are charged with leading our students towards an uncovering of self through the practice of yoga. We fine-tune our craft in studying anatomy, developing smart sequencing and through our own disciplined self-study, we design classes that integrate the individual parts of the body into the whole by way of technique, breath and presence. But there is another realm to uncover within ourselves as teachers. It comes from trusting the source of wisdom and knowing inside of us and allowing our authentic truth to rise through our voice to inspire and elevate students through the physical, emotional and energetic elements of the yoga practice.
Join Carrington Jackson, e-ryt500, for a three-part series designed specifically for teachers entitled;
Teaching Yoga: The Language of the Body, Mind & Soul.
The three sessions are as follows:
Session 1. The Language of Teaching- Resourcing sound, clear verbal cueing, and how to create and maintain presence, power and confidence in the room.
Session 2. The Energy of Teaching- Instruction on incorporating the language of chakras and other energy systems into the class.
Session 3. The Soul of Teaching- Expanding language to include soulful and inclusive messaging within the class.
