About the Event
Spring is the signal from Mother Earth that it is time to begin again, and has become to many folks, a time that we de-clutter, organize and prioritize our lives.
No one could have predicted the crisis we are in. Nevertheless, this moment in time has instructed many of us to slow down, to evaluate ourselves in our current state and to discern how and who we’ll be going forward.
Now more than ever, the need to tend to our own wellness and prioritize our own hearts is essential.
This 90-minute vinyasa-based class will include a detoxifying sequence that incorporates twists, chest openers & core work designed to rinse away tangible & intangible toxins. Through dynamic asana, reflective self-inquiry and sacred stillness, we’ll work to cleanse physically, emotionally and energetically from inside out to catalyze healthy and sustainable change for ourselves, and inevitably the world.
ONLINE CLASS INSTRUCTIONS
15-30 minutes before class begins, you will receive an email from your teacher with the Zoom URL. The URL will give you access to the class. If you do not receive the link, please check your spam folder.
PREPARING FOR CLASS
Classes are held on Zoom, so please download the Zoom app (https://zoom.us) on your phone, tablet or computer well before class is scheduled to begin. The basic version of the Zoom app is free for you to download and use. Gather your mat and any props. If you don’t have blocks or straps available at home, please consider using alternatives such as books for blocks and belts in place of straps. Please have a folded blanket on hand as well.
Please plan to join the class through the web link sent by email by your teacher at least 5-10 minutes before class start time to test the connection of your video and/or audio. Your teacher will greet you upon your arrival and ensure that you are properly connected as well. Once class begins, your teacher will mute all participants to avoid any possible disruptions.
For the best possible connection, log in using your computer audio rather than your phone, which may result in delays. If you have questions, check out our Best Practices for Online Classes here: https://www.bluelotusnc.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Zoom-best-practices-blue-students-.pdf
